Can you give me the latest firmware for RM500U-CN modem.

Are the 500U-CN and 500U-CNV modems completely different? I am working with Ethernet PDU sessions. 500U-CN modem does not seem to establish ethernet pdu session with the Cumucore core and airpuls RAN, while with the same setup 500U-CNV can establish ethernet pdu session
Are there any specific commands to ethernet pdu sessions with 500U-CN?
at+cgdcont? shows 3 pdp contexts, 1,2, and 11. at+cgdcont=2 sometimes is able to remove 2nd context but at+cgdcont=11 is never succesfull. why is that? 5G core is configured to only allow Ethernet sessions.

2.Actually, they have similar feature, please use the latest firmware to test again.
3.No specific commands, please use the latest firmware to test again.
4.Please share the response of at+cgdcont? , what do you mean of remove context? Deactivate context or others?

Thank you for the latest firmware. I had flashed it successfully. Earlier I had tried the firmware which was meant for 500U-CNV, thats why it hadnt worked.
at+cgdcont shows 2 or 3 sessions. Ethernet, IPv4v6 and ims. Out of these, only Ethernet context is active.
It is also confirmed by at+cgact command which shows 1,1 meaning Ethernet session active.
I guess completely removing(deleting) the ims context is not possible. I can remove IPV4V6 context sometimes via at+cgdcont=2, but other times it gives error.
I’m working with the RM500U-CN and RM500U-CNV modems. With our setup (OpenAirInterface core and Airpuls RAN) we can successfully establish an Ethernet PDU session using the RM500U-CN (latest firmware).
However, with the RM500U-CNV the Ethernet PDU session setup fails (PDP activation does not work). Are there any additional requirements, configuration steps, or a specific firmware update needed to enable Ethernet PDU sessions on the CNV variant?

I have only used CN modems. I dont have CNV modems, but some of my project colleagues have successfully used CNV modems and this was before I was able to successfully use CN modems.
What he told me was that he only used following commands
at+qcfg=“nat”,0
AT+QCFG=“5glan”,1,1
AT+CGDCONT=1,“Ethernet”,“ethernet”,“0.0.0.0”,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,1
AT+QNETDEVCTL=1,1,1
Change the APN name
I cant say which firmware he used but I remember he asked Quectel for the latest firmware but that was about 10 or so months back.
Also make sure that RAN is properly configured. Some of the issues that I faced were due to RAN misconfiguration.

thanks for your response. I’ve tried the commands you mentioned, but unfortunately the CNV modem doesn’t initiate PDU session establishment towards our network.
Interestingly, the CN modem does establish a session using the command:
AT+QNETDEVCTL=1,1,1
I would not expect it to be related to a RAN misconfiguration. One possibility I’m looking into is whether Ethernet PDU session establishment is fully supported with the firmware currently used.

I have checked with my colleagues and the firmare that they used (for CNV) was RM500UCNVCAR03A05M2G_01.001.01.001. This firmware has worked for them with OAI, Airpuls RAN (OAI based), Node-H RAN, and Amarisoft RAN.
