Hello, I am Enrico Brunelli, electronic engineering student from the University of Brescia. I am working on my master’s thesis with Firecell Labkit and some quectel module EVB with RM500Q-GL. I have some problems with the connection of the EVB because my personal PC (currently working with windows 11) doesn’t display the cellular network settings when the EVB is connected. The module has been configurated with QCOM correctly and connected to the 5GCN. However, when I check the connectivity from the network configuration panel in windows I don’t see anything.
The ATI command response is:
Could you show me the device manager?
And please check with the AT command:
AT+QCFG=“usbnet”
AT+QCFG=“pcie/mode”
AT+QCFG=“data_interface”
AT+CGREG?
AT+CEREG?
AT+C5GREG?
AT+COPS?
AT+CPIN?
AT+CFUN?
AT+QENG=“servingcell”
Hello @Bean.Wang-Q@silvia ,
I need help, please.
I have a Quectel RM500Q-GL and the driver Quectel_LTE&5G_Windows_USB_Driver_V2.1. My problem is that the PC does not see the cell (network), even when I set AT+QCFG="usbnet",0 or 2.
Could it be because of the driver?
Thanks in advance!
Dear @khadimba
Do you install RM500Q in PC directly? If yes, please contact with your PC manufacture.
If not, please download the corresponding driver on website.

Hello @silvia
I’m running iPerf speed tests with the Quectel RM500Q and a 5G network. Here’s my scenario: PC–(USB3)–Quectel → Amarisoft 5G SA callbox. I’ve noticed that the speed is very low. For example, when I download a file to my PC, the download is slow and the speed is around 15 Mbps.
Do you know how to get a normal speed, please?
The driver I was using is Quectel_LTE&5G_Windows_USB_Driver_V2.1 then I changed it to quectel_windows_usb_driverq_ndis_v2-8_en because the pc does not detect the cell.
