RM500Q-GL Not aggregating bands correctly

Hi all,

Recently purchased RM500Q-GL for use in Mikrotik RBM11G router.

Purchased because it stated it can do B3+B1+B32 aggregation

However, on testing it is only doing 3+32 or 1+32, but not 3+1+32. I know mast node can do 3CA as I have confirmed with NR5103E Router.

Any ideas?

Yes, RM500Q-GL supports CA_1A-3A-32A, did you confirm if the carrier support the combination or not?

I can confirm carrier supports this combination and that mast is broadcast this combination.

Have also previously used Zyxel NR5103E router which also supported this combination and aggregated all 3.

Did you use the latest firmware to try?or share your test firmware to me.

RM500QGLABR11A03M4G is my current firmware.

I have RM500QGLABR13A02M4G_01.200.01.200 firmware to load but not sure how to install.

I’m also having issues getting the modem to work with the router in PCIe mode - I’ve tried setting data_interface to 1,0 and lost the interface in Mikrotik router.

changed modem from EP mode and it’s now in PCIe mode on the mikrotik router and aggregating

Actually, I can share upgrade tool of Quectel to you, but I don’t know how to use with Mikrotik router.
