I’m developing with the RG650E module connected via USB to the AP board based on Qualcomm IPQ5424. The AP uses OpenWrt 24 of Qualcomm QSDK (spf13) and type of modem’s USBnet interface is RmNet. It’s connected to the 5G network and has successfully acquired IPv6 and IPv4.
However, unfortunately when transferring data over LAN or WLAN, packet transmission always stops.
Ping works find on PC, and there’s no issues when connecting to AP via terminal and sending packets using curl. It also works fine when transferring over the AP’s wired WAN without using a modem. I suspect it might have something to do with MTU, but I’m not sure.
Below are the settings I have set. Do I need to configure the QMI driver differently?
Refer to the UMTS LTE 5G Linux USB Driver User Guide 3.3 document to configure QMI_WWAN
As a side note, I also have other RG650E AB module with RG650EEU00ABR02A03G8G firmware, but I haven’t been able to test it. Because the AP board’s usim slot is connected to uim slot 2 in RG650E, but the AT+QUIMSLOT command to switch the UIM slot does not work on RG650EEU00ABR02A03G8G version, unlike the RG650EEU00AAR01A03G8G.
