RG530F-EU - Unable to set Band n257 for 5G Standalone (SA)

Dear All,

I am reaching out for technical assistance regarding the RG530F-EU module. I am trying to integrate FR2 mmWave solution on Band n257 in Standalone mode.

The Problem: I am using firmware version RG530FEUEAR05A04M8G_A0.300.A0.300. When I attempt to enable band 257 for SA mode using the command AT+QNWPREFCFG="nr5g_band",257, the module returns: +CME ERROR: 735.

I have already verified that:

  1. The hardware supports n257 (it is visible in the nsa_nr5g_band list).
  2. SA mode is enabled (nr5g_disable_mode is 0).

This exact issue was discussed and resolved in the Quectel Forum (Topic #40155) Unable to set n257 as preferred band on RG530F-EU module. I think the solution provided was the “FR2 SA Application Note” and a specific MBN profile.

Request: Please provide the files and documentation for my firmware version so I can unlock n257-SA:
