Why did you want to upgrade? Is there any issue?
For this module, it has R05 baseline, do you want to upgrade?
no issues, I think, I just wanted to make sure that I’m running latest FW given it’s a relatively recent device.
the only issue I’m running into is that passing traffic over modem interface causes 4-5 times more software interrupts than similar volume of traffic over regular ethernet - is this something to be expected? are there any tunables in linux kernel/modules to maximize the throughput?
I know for a fact that modem is capable of maximizing BTS (~2.5Gbit) when connected to a high performance device (7840HS), but struggling on J4115 - because it maxes out on SIs, giving around 800-900MBit max. at the same time I am able to do similar volumes of traffic (nat/routing) via ethernet.

Since 29dBm is about twice the transmission power of 26dBm, there is a huge speed difference between the two,
