In my project, I have to periodically (once per day) turn on EG915N, do position acquisition by GPS (the most time consuming, even with XTRA it is ~15 seconds) and send basic report to the server. The question concerns GPS position phase, which takes most of the time and consumes most of energy. How I can reduce power consumption of EG915N? Before turning on GPS, I turned off cellular connectivity (AT+CFUN=0), however energy consumption is still high. Any way to disable useless internal logic, such as USB (I am using main UART) or others?
