Could you please recommend Quectel modules suitable for our needs, we need integrate to our product the GSM/LTE module that can search all cell towers near by in 1-5 seconds.
We need to get cellid and LAC/TAC of cell towers of GSM/LTE networks.
Modules should work without sim card.
We found that you support QSCAN command, does it returns also GSM cell towers or only LTE?
Can we use QENG command, does it has any limits for output?

May I ask where you plan to use it, because there are different models in different areas? The 4G module has AT+QOPS command for scanning without SIM card.
Thank you for the answer. We need for European and Asian market, it will be 2 different versions of the product. So can you recommend modules according to this?
For us important to scan as fast as possible and return cell towers as much as possible (most modules limit by 7 cell towers).

There are some modules, that supports QSCAN command, as I understand it scans 4G and 5G only.
If we use QOPS, will it scan 4G and 5G that we can receive with the command QSCAN by other module, right?

I hope you can help, we have tested EM05 module, so far it suits our needs except the scanning speed.
QOPS command runs for about 2-3 minutes, is it normal or it can be improved?
Our ideal case is to scan every second, maybe you can recommend another module?

We have an update, we have found that our module doesn’t support 2G but by default it was trying to scan 2G. Currently it spends 10-20 seconds for scanning. Is it possible to do it faster?
