The BG95 device takes too long to receive a message when text messaging a sim card that is not inserted. It takes about 5-10 minutes to receive the message once I insert the sim card into the device. On the other hand, when using a different phone such as android/iphone, the messages are received instantly.

I just wait to receive a sms notification from the URC system. The messages come in fast when the sim card & gsm modem is already running. The messages are slow when the modem is off and I turn it back on to receive old text messages.
