Just for a bit of context. I am using the quectel rm500q-ae on an ubuntu 22 Odyssey x86j4125 compùter.To configure the modem, I use the modem manager and network manager. After successfully configuring the modem, the result of the sudo mmcli -m 0 command is the following:

As you can the status stays at searching, it seems that looking at the logs for the modem manager, that it is trying to call the signal quality and never does and then fails to activate the sim card. A month ago, the same setup without touching anything was working fine. Now all of a sudden, the sim card is not able to go into activate mode. It is the logs of the modem manager

I checked your log, the firmware is RM500QAEAAR11A02M4G, it is too old, please use the latest firmware to retest.
