Quectel RG500Q-EA: NR + LTE_CA Issue


I have a Quectel RG500Q-EA and I’m experiencing issues with aggregating multiple LTE bands along with the NR (5G) part. My BTS supports all bands (1+3+7+20+32) + N78 and N1.

I know that the module can aggregate up to 3 LTE bands.

The problem is that if I aggregate the N78 band, I can only combine 2 LTE bands. With the N1 band, however, I can aggregate LTE 7+3+20 + N1.

I don’t understand what the issue is. Below are some tests I performed:

Currently configured bands in LTE:

Currently configured bands in 5G:

Please query your firmware via AT+QGMR.
RG500QEA supports 3LTE+n78, could you confirm your basestations support the combinations?Or you can share the list of combinations, I can check later.

For n78 combinations, it only supports max bandwidth 60MHz.

But this limit is a firmware limit, is not possible to release a version with the possibility to use more bandwitdth?
