Hi,
I have a Quectel RG500Q-EA and I’m experiencing issues with aggregating multiple LTE bands along with the NR (5G) part. My BTS supports all bands (1+3+7+20+32) + N78 and N1.
I know that the module can aggregate up to 3 LTE bands.
The problem is that if I aggregate the N78 band, I can only combine 2 LTE bands. With the N1 band, however, I can aggregate LTE 7+3+20 + N1.
I don’t understand what the issue is. Below are some tests I performed:
Currently configured bands in LTE:
+QNWPREFCFG: “lte_band”,1:2:3:4:5:7:8:12:13:14:17:18:19:20:25:26:28:29:30:32:34:38:39:40:41:42:43:46:48:66:71
Currently configured bands in 5G:
+QNWPREFCFG: “nsa_nr5g_band”,1:3:5:7:8:20:28:38:40:41:77:78:79
Current band aggregation:
+QCAINFO: “PCC”,3175,75,“LTE BAND 7”,1,211,-90,-13,-59,14
+QCAINFO: “SCC”,1350,100,“LTE BAND 3”,1,410,-94,-13,-60,14,0,-,-
+QCAINFO: “SCC”,648768,10,“NR5G BAND 78”,241
However, if I use N1, it seems to aggregate all the bands:
+QCAINFO: “PCC”,1350,100,“LTE BAND 3”,1,410,-94,-14,-60,12
+QCAINFO: “SCC”,3175,75,“LTE BAND 7”,1,211,-90,-10,-68,0,0,-,-
+QCAINFO: “SCC”,6300,50,“LTE BAND 20”,2,418,-92,-12,-60,13,0,-,-
+QCAINFO: “SCC”,427230,2,“NR5G BAND 1”,698
The current version in use is: RG500QEAAAR13A01M4G
Could you please check? Thank you.
