I try to install the linux USB serial option driver on a Ubuntu system with the kernel 6.5.0-28-generic. Is there an updated driver package available which suits my kernel version?

Most Quectel modems are supported by the standard Linux drivers and there is no need to install anything separately.

Hello, thank you for your answer. Is this also the case for the
5G RMU500 EVB?

Driver is needed for the modem, EVB is a transparent adapter, at least it should behave like that.
