Hello, I’m using a Quectel EC20F Revision GSM modem: EC20CEHCLGR06A14M1G. I want to restore the modem’s settings. I’m using management software that automatically checks my account and phone number, causing me to lose port access. I want to reset all ports to their default settings.

You can use the following steps to reset the ports

  1. Connect to the modem and send AT command below to reset general settings.

AT&F0

  1. If your management software has changed the baud rate, you must manually set it back to your required speed
    Check your baud rate; if incorrect, set it as shown below

AT+IPR=115200

  1. If your management software has redirected information to specific ports, causing you to lose access or receive unexpected data, you can reconfigure the output ports manually.

Reset the URC port if necessary:

AT+QURCCFG=“urcport”,“usbat”.
