Hey, I’m using an E800M-LE module.
I used the following firmware for it:
QPY_OCPU_V0005_EC800M_CNLE_FW V0005 2025-04-17
It works very well so far. Unfortunately, the “SMS module” is missing. According to the description, this is only optional.
“Supports TTS, Audios, Record, module plug-in GNSS, LCD, Lvgl, Ethernet, FOTA, WiFiSCAN, USSL, optional SMS, etc.”
Is there a suitable firmware with an integrated SMS module?

It seems sms module is missing, if I will have to reconfigure hundreds of these devices it would be very difficult to do it one by one without the possibility to send sms, so is it possible to have the full firmware? Thank you!
The EC800M_CN_LE does not have SMS functionality enabled initially; the manual indicates it needs to be updated.
While this function can be enabled, it only supports NAS SMS due to VoLTE support. In China, only China Mobile and China Unicom can send SMS messages normally.
It is recommended to use the EC800M_CN_LE_VOLTE version, which supports full SMS functionality.
I have sent you the new VoLTE firmware version via email. Please check and test it.
