I am trying to downgrade my EG-25 G firmware on windows 10. I get the following error on Qflash_V4.19 whenever i select the firmware downloaded from the link given below.
" No Key (json,blf) file is found, this zip file maybe a invalid zip or you downloadmode is not right, please check it".

With last QFlash version (tested 7.3 and 7.4), and official FW, I have error the ZIP contain space (and indeed BG96MAR02A07M1G_01.202.01.202 2.zip contain space).
When removing the space and with other package (EC25EUGAR06A11M4G_01.200.01.200.zip for another device), I have the “No Key (json,blf)” error. And indeed the zip do not contain blf file.
What is wrong with the FW or QFlash?
You need to extract the firmware package and import the correct file
Really strange, for my FW package update, using the .zip file was working fine with no error.

I tried with the prog_nand_firehose_9x06.mbn file for my BG96. The device seems now to be bricked. It only provide a “Quectel QDLoader 9008) interface”. What should I do to unbrick it and restore the other interface.
The BG95 archive got a .elf bin that allow to update. BG96 and EC25 do not have .elf. So, what is the “correct file” for those two devices? Should I select MBN autoset?

For the update of the EC25, it works fine.
On the BG96, the FW update process crashed. And the BG96 was no more working (no AT interface for example)
To have it work again, I have to follow the following process:
1: Install QPST ( Qualcomm Product Support Tools )
2: Using QFIL (tool from QPST):
Select Port and choose the QDLoader
Select FLAT BUILD
Browse: Select firehose\prog_nand_firehose_9x06.mbn
Load XML and select booth rawprogram… .xml and patch… .xml
As it was not working first, I add to remove all “erase” lines from the rawprogram xml and reboot the device.
After that, the AT COM is back and the device work fine
What is the correct process to update a BG96?
The device FW version is BG96MAR02A07M1G_01.200.01.200, trying to update to BG96MAR02A07M1G_01.202.01.202 2.zip (and I would suggest you to remove the " 2" from the name as QFlash do not accepts space)

You can remove the “2” and the process to update a BG96 is the same as EC25 actually.
