Hi,
I recently purchased the LC29HBA and LG290P(03) modules and tried testing them as Rover+Base (and vice versa) setup. But the modules remain in floating state for ~60s with ~3m baseline before resolving the ambiguity and fixing.
Here are the commands I used, would you please help me diagnose if the problem is the setup process itself?
- Base Setup:
$PQTMRESTOREPAR*13// Restore Parameters
$PQTMGNSSSTOP*09// Stop Gnss
$PQTMCFGFIXRATE,W,1000*59// Set fixrate (1Hz)
$PQTMCFGRCVRMODE,W,2*29// Set to Base mode
$PQTMSAVEPAR*5A// Save
$PQTMSRR*4B// Reset ( LG290P )$PAIR023*3B// Reset ( LC29HBA )
$PQTMCFGSVIN,W,2,0,0,X,Y,Z*Checksum// Set base location, ARP (ECEF)
// Save, Reset
$PQTMCFGRTCM,W,4,0,5,07,06,1,0*34// LG290P ( set RTCM MSM4 output )
$PAIR432,0*23// LC29HBA ( set RTCM MSM4 output )
// Save, Reset
$PAIR436,1*26// LC29HBA (output Ephemeris enable)
// Save, Reset, Enable GNSS engine
- Rover Setup ( both )
$PQTMRESTOREPAR*13// Restore Parameters
$PQTMGNSSSTOP*09// Stop Gnss
$PQTMCFGFIXRATE,W,1000*59// Set fixrate (1Hz)
$PQTMCFGRCVRMODE,W,1*2A// Set to rover mode
// Save and reset
The firmware version for LC29HBA: LC29HBANR11A06S_CSA4
The firmware version for LG290P(03): LG290P03AANR01A04S
Another base model we used previously (name redacted) achieves fix in <5s under same conditions for both modules in rover mode.
Thank you for your time!
