I am having a problem with reconnecting a PPP connection after disconnect.
If the linux PPPD server disconnects, then a reconnect is successful.
If the disconnect is caused for other reasons, then the ec21 gets stuck in a loop of trying to reconnect. It continually gets a “NO CARRIER” error on the ATDT+99# command.
The only way out of this is to power cycle the ec21.
Is there a way of tidying up the ec21 PPP connection using AT commands?
EC25&EC21_PPP_Application_Note section 3.3 suggests using DTR line to drop connection. Unfortunately I do not have access to the DTR line, this is not wired on my board.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
