$PMTK353 command rebbot L96 module

Hi,

I have the L96 module and when I send the command “$PMTK353,1,1,1,0,0*2A” the module responds with these commands:

$MTK011,MTKGPS 08
$PMTK010,001 2E
$PMTK011,MTKGPS 08
$PMTK010,002 2D

What does “Notification for Host Helping EPO” mean?
Why do I have no response from the “PMTK353” command?

My firmware version is “PMTK705,AXN_5.1.6_3333_18060500,0008,Quectel-L96,1.0*16”.

Hi Ibc,

When a PMTK353 command is sent to the module, and the configuration you sent is different than the current one, the engine will execuate a restart to change to the new configuration.

  1. $PMTK011 and $PMTK010 are automatic output messages after a restart.
  2. Response message (PMTK001) will not be sent out when there’s a restart, as described below:

    However, your command is still been acknowledged by the module and will make the change in configuration, though without the response message.
