No power on usim_VDD

Hi

I am hoping someone can help me, the issue iam facing is that my BG95-M3 module does not want to play ball with the Usim. I feel like tried everything and it doesn’t seem to be working. I checked with a multimeter and sim_vdd just sits there with 0v

  1. I’m currently looking at if the SIM is 3.3v or 1.8v
  2. I have followed the hardware design schematic to a tea
  3. I have disabled Simonchip
  4. I still don’t even get power when I remove the SIM card (unless sim_vdd only works when a SIM card is connected.
  5. my firmware version is BG95M3LAR02A03_01.014.01.014

I’m hoping anyone could point me in the right direction

Thank you

BG95 only supports 1.8V SIM cards, please confirm the working voltage of your SIM card.
If you want to check if USIM.VDD can output voltage normally, please use an oscilloscope to capture the output voltage during the module startup process.
Alternatively, if the module is turned on, send AT+CFUN=0 and AT+CFUN=1 control, and then use an oscilloscope to capture the USIM.VDD voltage.
USIM.VDD can stably output voltage, and it is necessary to ensure stable communication of the USIM card. Otherwise, the USIM VDD will automatically shut down after only outputting for a short period of time.
