Need Latest Firmware (A08_KR) for EC25-E: LG U+ MMS PDU Reassembly Issue

Hello,

I am currently using the EC25-E module in South Korea with the LG U+ network.

My current firmware version is EC25EFAR08A04M4G_KR.

I am experiencing a critical issue with MMS Notification (WAP Push) reassembly. When receiving multi-segment SMS messages for MMS notifications, the 3rd segment containing the actual URL is consistently dropped or not visible in the AT+CMGL list.

According to the release notes for the KR region, this segmentation/buffer handling bug was addressed in later revisions (A06 or A08).

Could you please provide the download link for the latest firmware (EC25EFAR08A08M4G_KR) and the QFlash utility for Windows?

Hi @AnnaLiu,

I saw that you privately sent an IMS-enabled LGU+ package to the OP for Commercial-LGU MBN.

I am facing the same issue on LG U+ (LTE-only, no CS domain): SMS over IMS does not work with the Commercial-LGU MBN.

Could you please also send me the same IMS/LGU+ firmware (or MBN) privately to my registered forum email?

Module: EC25-EAF
SIM: LG U+ (or MVNO)
Issue: SMS send/receive fails on Commercial-LGU (e.g. +CMS ERROR: 350); need SMS over IMS.
