I need the latest EC25-AU modem firmware. My current firmware does not support SMS over LTE/IMS, which is now the only option in Australia since Telstra shut down 3G in 2024.
Current firmware: EC25AUFAR06A12M4G_01.001.01.001
Device: Teltonika TRB140
Carrier: Aldi Mobile (Telstra wholesale network), Australia
SMS receiving works fine, but sending fails with +CMS ERROR: unknown error. The IMS layer does not appear to be registering — at+qimsstat? returns ERROR. All other diagnostics check out (correct SMSC, service domain set to combined, network registered on LTE).
Since there is no 3G fallback available in Australia, SMS must go via IMS. The current modem firmware does not appear to support this.
Could you please provide the latest EC25-AU firmware with proper IMS/SMS-over-LTE support?
