i was sent a link to download the firmware for the module in my mofinetwork MOFI5500-5GXeLTE-RM520
to upgrage to module RM520N module firmware RM520NGLAAR01A08M4G_01.200.01.200 ( i currently have the A07M4G version. The Mofi instructions has Firmware Checksum: bec7308158b4364a464758ca022994a7 Size: 132.34 MB (26.69 MB available)
. The software in their router when i try to do the upgrade tells me: Firmware Checksum: a9c2052513af67da3dfd1dccb7d659ee
Size: 122.63 MB (26.69 MB available)
They provided me a file name of RM520NGLAAR01A08M4G_01.200.01.200.enc.zip their web interface says i need a .tar.gz file/ i try to upload this version they told me to download with the mismatch checksum and it just froze, i had to use the hard reset button to reset their hardware to be able to log in. i have a ticket in with Mofi but have not heard bac kfrom them. so i’m reaching out here.
i’m in rural colorado pinging off towers in Longmont Colorado about 6-14 miles from me for T-mobile. so i want to make sure i have the currect firmware for your module as well it has the correct frequencies etc (i’m not sure how to ask that part of the question) so i tworks well from the distance i am.
my iphone and ipad do work on the Tmobile 5G and LTE networks from my house at that distance as i get upwards of 50Mbps downlink and 10Mbps uplink in a test just now on my iphone on 5G.
thanks for your help.
