Mc60 sim vdd disappeared when removed esim from the circuit

I everyone , MC60 SIM VDD NOT COMING WHEN ESIM DESOLDERED …
When removed esim on the PCB it’s sim vdd which should be 1.8v dc gets disappeared. Because I want to put external M2M sim card but not working due to power supply failure I believe… I tried on not one on 4 devices and the result is same power supply getting disappeared.
Appreciate anyone can help please:pray::pray:

ESIM can be used, and using a USIM card is definitely possible. Please confirm if the connection of the USIM card is correct.Or confirm if the USIM card is a valid card.
You can use an oscilloscope to measure SIM_VDD, and when AT+CFUN=0 and then AT+CFUN=1, confirm whether the SIM_VDD voltage output can be captured.

SIM_VDD not outputting may indicate abnormal communication between the module and SIM card, and then shut down.
The working principle of SIM card is that the module first outputs SIM_VDD, and then the module communicates with the SIM card. When communication is normal, SIM_VDD maintains output.
If the communication between the module and the SIM card is not normal, the module will automatically turn off the SIM_VDD output

Hi Thank you for the input… will check connection once more, however just wanted to ask is it ok if we connect usim on top of esim with parallel connection? Will it work or we have to first remove esim … And pin37 on module which is sim presence detect shall I bypass it to ground or something…

Thanks
