[MC60] GNSS UART always output $PMTK850*3F

I cant find a reference to this output. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Sir

I didn’'t find the description of PMTK850 command.
Could you tell me which FW version you are using?
and which UART port is outputting this command? If possible, please provide me the whole log that UART outputs.

After turning on the GNSS part with

AT+QGNSSC=1

This is what outputs out of the GNSS_TXD/RXD interface (Pins 22,23).

And continues the same indefinitely, even after 1PPS starts blinking.

NB: This used to output the NMEA information instead of just this. I am trying to ascertain what caused this.
Also I am able to query the actual NMEA data using “AT+QGNSSRD?”.

Hello,

After checking internally, this message is like a heart-beat mechanism, you just ignore it.

Okay but this is all that comes out of the GNSS_TX/RX interface. It does not seem to output any nmea sentences. Again I am able to query the NMEA sentence using AT commands but I created my application to keep on polling the GNSS serial interface for new data.

Do you mean there is no NMEA sentence outputted by GNSS UART port?
Could you try to upgrade FW to the latest version MC60CAR01A12?

Thank you, this worked. Still no idea how such an issue can come out of nowhere

Thank you for the feedback, maybe your FW GPS part was not updated successfully, if any issue, please let me know.
