MC25 IMEI change

Hello,

I have an issue recently I lost more and more of gps trackers because of robbers. People somehow (probably by resellers) know my imei number and by them tracks and steals. Is there a way to change tracker IMEI number? Its legal in my country to do it, but asking how to change it by myself as it has MC25 PLC.

I tried to get it from my internal colleagues, but they told me that imei is unique, related to the legality of each device, and it is not allowed to change.
So I may not be able to help you with that, sorry
