M60 module VRTC LDO Overheating problem

i am referring to “Quectel_MC60-OpenCPU_Series_Hardware_Design_V2.0”
I have a question from section 3.6.5.1 of the MC60 hardware design. I connected an LDO to VRTC and supplied voltage to both VBAT and VRTC.

The VRTV LDO is extremely overheating once the device is turned ON. Can you please confirm where is the problem.

Hi, are You shure that situation where LDO is directly connected to VRTC is ok ?
Add Schottky diode between LDO output and VRTC, if You don’t use any capacitor or rechargeable battery. If You want use some of them, You need use resistor too.
