I have a Lenovo ThinkPad L14 G3 with built-in GNSS, but it doesn’t detect it at all as a COM or NMEA port, only as a GPS reader. Is it possible to overwrite it with a digital driver so that it appears as a COM port in the device manager?
Hi @jezyk403,
Lenovo ThinkPad L14 G3 may support GNSS it is ‘not a standalone feature’ built into the motherboard. Instead, GNSS functionality is tied directly to the ‘WWAN (4G/LTE) module’. Further checking is needed on WWAN card (integrated chipset) which was configured in the laptop. Can you check the WWAN card and chipset used? Best regards.
