For a free-flight instrument, we are currently using several hundred units of the LC76GPAMDGNSS module. As far as we know, these units are running the current firmware version: LC76GPANR12A02S,2023/07/03,09:27:58
In our application (paragliding), we experience relatively high accelerations. The drone navigation mode generally works, but it appears to be somewhat limited under these conditions.
Would it be possible to adapt this mode to tolerate higher accelerations (approximately 2× higher)? If so, would it be possible to obtain a firmware update including these modifications?
In addition, we have recently encountered a specific case with one unit where the GNSS coordinates seemed to be delayed by about 3 seconds (roughly 40 m on the ground at our typical speed). The module was configured in drone navigation mode. This behavior was reproduced several times and compared with other GNSS modules, which did not show this delay.
Do you have any insight or idea as to what could cause this behavior?
