Small update: the flashing procedure issue is solved.
I successfully downgraded the LC29HAA module from:
$PQTMVERNO,LC29HAANR11A04S,2024/12/11,20:16:19*38
to:
$PQTMVERNO,LC29HAANR01A02S,2021/12/20,13:28:09*34
I used QGNSS V2.4 Firmware Update, baud rate 115200. The module entered boot mode only when I briefly pulled the boot pin to GND during the handshake stage. After that, the firmware update completed successfully.
So the original question about the flashing tool and downgrade procedure can be considered solved.
Now I would like to continue engineering compatibility testing between firmware branches.
However, NR01A02S is quite old. Could Quectel support please advise whether there are any intermediate LC29HAA firmware packages available between LC29HAANR01A02S and LC29HAANR11A04S?
I would like to test, if available:
The latest LC29HAA NR01 firmware after NR01A02S, for example NR01A03S or NR01A04S.
Any LC29HAA NR02/NR03/NR04 firmware branches, if they exist.
The earliest available LC29HAA NR11 firmware.
Firmware release notes or change logs for these versions.
AGNSS / assistance data procedure for LC29HAA in QGNSS.
My purpose is engineering regression and compatibility testing only. I would like to identify the newest firmware version compatible with my hardware and compare GNSS behavior between firmware branches.
