I am working with the LC29H (DA) GNSS module and trying to configure the position update rate above the default 1 Hz.
I have attempted to send configuration commands via the QGNSS tool console, specifically:
$PAIR050,100*22
$PQTMCFGFIXRATE variants
However, after sending these commands, the module either completely ignores them or continues to output NMEA messages at a stable 1 Hz without returning any error or changing the frequency.
Could you please clarify:
Is a higher position update rate (e.g., 5 Hz or 10 Hz) officially supported on the LC29H(DA) variant, or is it strictly limited/locked to 1 Hz in the current firmware for this specific model?
If it is supported, what is the exact and correct sequence of commands or procedure required to change and save the fix rate on the LC29H(DA)?
Thank you, bamarcant, and thank you, Quectel team, for your quick responses and for sharing the specification.
This confirms that the LC29H-DA RTK engine is limited to 1 Hz, so my question regarding the update rate has been answered.
My next step is to configure a stable RTK FIX with my Raspberry Pi and verify the complete data chain (GNSS → RTK corrections → Raspberry Pi → RaceChrono).
Once everything is working correctly, I will consider upgrading to the LC29H-EA for a higher RTK update rate.
Thank you again for your support. I really appreciate your help.
I have a Quectel LC29H-DA GNSS RTK module and I would like to update its firmware to the latest available version.
The current firmware version is: LC29HDANR11A03S_RSA, 2024/03/19, 13:55:31
Could you please provide me with the latest firmware available for the LC29H-DA, preferably LC29HDANR11A04S_RSA or newer, if available?
I would also appreciate the official firmware update tool and the latest firmware update instructions for this exact module variant.
The module is currently used for RTK positioning with an NTRIP correction stream. I would like to perform the update using the official Quectel procedure.
