LC28HEA survey-in

When I do a survey-in on LC29HEA, and monitor the progress, I can see each second, the counting up of the counter, and at the end of the NMEA sentence, I see the precision number. In my case it hovers around 1.9000. At the end of 600 second survey-in it is 1.8636. I think this is not accurate enough.

If I run the survey-in for 24 hours, will I see the number drop as the survey completes?

After 1 hour I see 1.400 or so.

After 2 hours it’s at back up to ~2.000

It would be advisable to inject also rtcm corrections even if distant; otherwise log the raw data (as a base) and try a ppp solution with igs_precise after 16 days…

I haven’t yet tried logged the raw data (just the RTCM messages?). I will probably do that also, and then convert to RINEX and get the Canadian website to come up with a solution. At least that I my understanding of how it works.

igs_precise is what?

https://igs.org/products/ aka final

Final result: 1.3910 accuracy. Doesn’t seem very good. Somewhat surprised since antenna is a good quality from Quectel with ground plane and survey-in was 24 hours and there were zero obstructions.

But maybe that number doesn’t mean what I think…

Will try logging rtcm messages for 24 hours and sending it off to the Canadian website.
