I downloaded the official https://www.quectel.com/download/quectel_lte5g_linux_usb_driver_v1-0-2 but found the latest kernel for the usb serial driver to be 5.3.1.
My Raspberry Pi 4 is having kernel 5.4.0 and my desktop Ubuntu is having kernel 5.15.0.
Is there any more up to date driver zip file that I can use ?

Sorry for the late. Did you solve your problem now?
Yes I found the modem can work with the vanilla OS; though I had to download and compile the quectel-CM to use with the modem.
