Hi, I have the LG20P module, firmware version LG290P03AANR01A04S,2025/01/02,17:20:51.
I cannot seem to be able to configure RTCM (here MSM_Type to 7).
The command and response are as follows:
$PQTMCFGRTCM,W,7,0,-90.0,07,06,1,0*38
$PQTMCFGRTCM,ERROR,1*3B
I was wondering if this is due to the module lacking the capability (the quectel_lg29xplgx80p_series_gnss_protocol_specification_v1-3.pdf doesn’t seem to suggest so), or do I need to upgrade the firmware? If so, could I get the latest firmware? Thanks!

Hi, you must be misunderstanding..
I want to change the output MSM_Type of the module to MSM7, keeping everything else the defaults as noted in the specification. I am not trying to change anything with MSGRATE. Or am I missing something? Sorry if that’s the case. Would you happen to know the solution?
For future reference, $PQTMCFGRTCM,W,7,0,-90,07,06,1,0*26 worked! The documentation however has an example that is not accepted by the LG290P.

here a similar: MSM7 CFGRTCM not being respected on LG290P after a restore unless it's done again
anyway I meant to say that many commands are interconnected and dependent in cascade.
