L86 positioning accuracy

Hello everyone,
a GNSS L86 module is installed in a circuit board to be used for automotive related projects.

It looks like the vehicle position while driving is good only if the module had the time to get a proper position prior that vehicle moves.
If the vehicle moves before that the position has reach is maximum accurancy, all the drive long the vehicle position is very bad.

It seems that the L86 module is not able to calculate a proper vehicle positioning if it is turned on in a vehicle which is already on movement.
Do you have any suggestion? We cannot ask the vehicle to stop because of it positioning isn’t good enough.

Thank you for your help.

Francesco

Hi Francesco,

May I ask for your testing logs? You can send them to me via message. If you can’t, may I ask the testing environment? Maybe in low signal environment, the position drifted.

Best regards.
