I am doing P2P communication of my KG200Z module with KG200Z TE-B EVB kit and its working fine. However my KG200Z module is overheating in just 5 minutes. I have not connected anything with KG200Z module. I am only giving 3.3v power to the module. Temperate of KG200Z TE-B EVB kit module is normal. The software in both the devices is same.

Yes, I am facing this problem in all my four modules.
can you please share if there’s any issue caused in module’s operations with heat ?
It was operating fine but I turned it off after 5 min because it was heating too much. With the same firmware the temperature of the module in KG200Z TE-B EVB is normal.

How re you connected to the module ? on your PCB with a microcontroller ?
The module is placed on PCB and there is no microcontroller. At present I have not connected any peripherals with module still its heating.
This issue has been resolved with the help of local Quectel team support , issue was found in customer’s HW design.
