I am currently using the L89 GPS module (L89HA-S90) and are facing an issue with the DGPS performance.
I have observed the following issues:
1. Long time to achieve 3D Fix: After powering ON the module, it takes a significant amount of time to obtain a 3D Fix.
2. DGPS data is not available: Even after achieving a 3D Fix, the expected DGPS data is not being received.
3. In some cases, we have observed that it takes approximately 1–2 hours before DGPS data becomes available, which is not acceptable for our application.
Our requirement is to obtain a 3D Fix quickly after power-on and receive DGPS-corrected data as soon as possible.
Could you please help us investigate this issue and provide:
1. The possible reason why DGPS data is taking 1–2 hours to become available.
2. The expected time for obtaining a 3D Fix and DGPS data under normal conditions.
3. Any configuration, firmware, or AT commands required to enable/faster acquire DGPS/RTK correction data.
4. Recommended settings or procedures to improve the TTFF and DGPS availability.
5. Whether there is any known issue with the L89HA-S90 firmware/version related to DGPS.
6. If a firmware upgrade is required, please provide the recommended firmware version and upgrade procedure.
