Integrating the Quectel AG15 LTE module with an NXP i.MX EVK board using a Yocto Linux build

Hello Quectel Support Team,

I am currently working on integrating the Quectel AG15 LTE module with an NXP i.MX EVK board using a Yocto-based Linux build.

I would appreciate your support with the following:

  1. Official integration documentation for AG15 on embedded Linux platforms
  2. Driver requirements (USB, PCIe, UART, QMI, MBIM, etc.)
  3. Recommended kernel configurations and modules for AG15
  4. Yocto integration guidance, including:
  • Required kernel configs (defconfig)
  • Device tree requirements
*Recipes/layers for AG15 support (if available)
  1. Reference architecture or application notes for LTE integration on i.MX platforms
  2. Best practices for network setup (pppd, NetworkManager, ModemManager, QMI/MBIM)

My goal is to achieve a clean, production-ready integration of AG15 into a minimal Yocto image for the i.MX EVK platform.
If there are any official documents, SDKs, sample projects, or reference implementations, kindly share them or point me to the appropriate resources.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,

May I know your project details? Where did you buy it? I will share local support resource to you.
