Incorrect startup EM160R-GL in Mikrotik

Hello!

I have the problem with my EM160R-GL. When i put it in my Mikrotik router, i always need to restart LTE interface in Mikrotik. I had written to Mikrotik’s support, they say that the modem reports packet service as connected while the register state is still in the searching state and only after that it registers to the network. Also in attachment log from Mikrotik’s support. So can You help me (or Mikrotik) to solve this problem?

Hi KillMistr,

I think what they mean is that the EM160R-GL was not registerred first. It takes some time for the EM160R-GL to boot up and register the 4G and set up data call.
What Quectel could provide is that we can help them check whether the EM160R-GL has registerred the 4G.
And from the log Incorrect startup EM160R-GL in Mikrotik.txt I don’t know how the set up data call. QuectelConnectManager? ModemManager? uqmi? libqmi?
