I need some basic resources for getting started with EC21 Module

Hello community,

I have recently purchased an EC21 module with EVB kit, and want to learn basic programming skills for this kit to make an IOT based project. I have successfully interfaced module with my host PC (Ubuntu 14) and build some default examples provided by QuecTel (GPIO & UART) and tested them on chip. But the problem is I want to write my own basic c code and want to learn app development on this module.

Please suggest me some reading material or manuals so that I can make a basic configuraion on this board
