I can't make voice calls with EM12-G

I tried the ATD command to make a voice call on the EM12-G, but NO CARRIER was returned.
Is the voice call method I tried wrong?

The number you used is a little confusing to me, you can directly use your own mobile phone number to test.such as:

ATD1832619xxxx; //My own cell phone number

or

ATD10086; //China mobile public customer service number

I’m in Japan.
The “+81” is the country code for Japan and the “0” is the prefix for domestic calls in Japan.

Now, I tried to call my own number, but I get the same result.

According to the current results, I think this module EM12-G only supports data-only,and does not support voice-call mode;So your voice call connection failed.I need to consult our product manager on working-day and then reply to you about the definitive answer.

I have confirmed that the modem in your device supports voice dialing, but currently your SIM card provider or operator does not support voice calling for this type of modem. If you need to use voice calling function, you can change to another operator to try it.
