How to run user application from /usrdata at the system initialization?

Hi,

I am using EC20 openlinux. I want to start my application in /usrdata on system start. I have tried to add scripts in init.d and tried modifying etc/inittab . Is there a standatrd procedure to do this on quecopen EC20?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
