How to install the EP06E driver on Siemens IOT2050

Good day all,

I want to install the driver of EP06E mPCIe on Siemens IOT2050 example image V1.2.2 (OS: Linux Debian 5.10.64 aarch64). Yet I can’t find the derictory “[KERNEL]/drivers/usb/serial/usb_wwan.c” as discribed on LTE&5G_Linux_USB_Driver_User_Guide_V2.0 file.

I am a beginner with linux and would appreciate any support to sort this out.

This modem is supported by standard Linux drivers for quite some time.

First of all, what does not work?
Show the output of cat /sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices

when I put the EP06E on mPCIe slot, the OS doesnt start and get stuck as per below picture:

and when I remove the LTE card the system starts normally as per below snapshot:

Try isolating pins as shown here EP-06-E wont work after "successful" firmware upgrade - #6 by Gnitset
