I am trying to update my EM05-G from EM05GFAR07A07M1G_01.027.01.027 to EM05GFAR07A07M1G_40.300.40.300.
Unfortunately, the update fails with DL_Firehose, Time out!. I also tried the Sahara-only mode in QFlash, but the update fails there as well.
Is there a specific upgrade path or intermediate firmware required for this version?
I have a Quectel EM05-G module (firmware EM05GFAR07A03M1G) in a Lenovo ThinkPad. It repeatedly loses carrier / the MBIM interface wedges every few minutes (NETDEV WATCHDOG, modem-no-carrier). I need the latest firmware (EM05GFAR07A08M4G or newer) and the QFirehose tool with its Linux user guide. Module info: ATI → EM05-G, IMEI 869283050042565, h/w revision QUECTEL Mobile Broadband Module.Very thanks!
