How do I disable GPS on the EM160R-GL?

If it’s running you can turn it off with AT+QGPSEND

This survives restarts, until something turns GPS on again.

I had tried that earlier, but I still see GPS location on my RBM11G /Rooter interface. When I run it now, I get +CME ERROR: 505. It must be running to give my location, right?
