How can we achieve echo cancellation in M66?

Dear Team,

We are using a loudspeaker and a audio mic interfaced with M66 modem and all these components are fitted in a single assembly. Due to that we are facing echo noise issue between speaker and mic. So we have to use echo cancellation in M66 modem.

How can we achieve echo cancellation in M66? Pls suggest suitable AT commands.

we had tried the command, AT+QECHO = 224,2000,5256,57351,2
we received “OK” reply from modem.

But,after checking configuration value through AT&V
modem shows default value as “+QECHO(LoudSpk_AUDIO): 224,96,5256,57351,2”

Please provide solution as soon as possible.

Regards,
Shailesh

Hi Shailesh, I hope you have acheived the echo cancellation by now. Could you please let me know the settings you have used. I am facing the echo issues here.

Hi,
If you’re having the same issue, you can try it by following the AT steps provided by Kyson.

I tried all the settings. No luck :frowning:

Hi,
You can refer to this document, and if the problem is still not solved, you can contact support@quectel.comQuectel_GSM_Module_Audio_Design_Guide_V3.0.pdf (1.2 MB)

You can not image how many times I have looked into this document from last 15 days. Nothing worked.

Here are the mic and speaker settings I am using.

AT+QMIC=2,15
ATM2
ATL3

I tried all these below echo suppression commands.

Echo is still there :frowning:

We are facing the same issue on MC60 module. Are there any news on this topic?

It would be very helpful if there would be some documentation and description about the parameters. We managed to keep the echo itself suppressed, but have a high peak noise in the beginning of the echo suppression. So each time the other party begins talking, there is a loud popping noise until the echo suppression kicks in and reduces the microphone gain.

Please help.
