How can I get a new firmware for EC25EUX

I have problems sending sms messages with ec25eux current firmware is EC25EUXGAR08A13M1G. I read that the problems are solved with a newer firmware e.g. EC25EUXGAR08A17M1G. How can I get this?

Sorry for hijacking this topic, but I am experiencing the same issue when trying to send SMS message.
I have the same dongle (EC25-EUX) and firmware version (EC25EUXGAR08A13M1G) as @DanielBorer.
Can you email the latest firmware version for the dongle?

Hi!

My requirements are a bit unusual.

I have 2 of EC25:
EC25EUXGAR08A08M1G
EC25EUXGAR08A19M1G
the newer one (v19) has a defect from my point of view - “parasitic” ~+600 ms delay in case bufferbloat in uplink occurs, which v08 does not have.
as I have read:
The new firmware version cannot be downgraded to versions released before EC25EUXGAR08A13M1G, otherwise the module will not be able to work normally.

If I cannot install v08 over v19 even if I had it, can I get v13 ?

Dear Quectel Support Team,

I am currently using a Quectel EC25-EUX LTE module integrated in a USB dongle.

The module reports the following information via the ATI command:

  • Model: EC25EUX

  • Revision: EC25EUXGAR08A07M1G

  • Current version, EC25EUXGAR08A07M1G_01.001.01.001

I would like to kindly request:

  1. The official firmware package (.pac or equivalent) for this exact revision (EC25EUXGAR08A07M1G), so that I can keep a backup of the original firmware before performing any upgrades.

  2. The latest recommended firmware for the EC25-EUX series (GAR08AxxM1G branch), including any release notes or documentation you can provide (changelog, known issues, etc.).

  3. The latest official version of your firmware upgrade tool for Windows (QFlash / Quectel Software Upgrade Tool), compatible with the EC25-EUX, along with any relevant usage guide.

The module is currently used for development, testing and evaluation purposes (non‑production).
If you require any additional information (IMEI, serial number, region, operator), I will be happy to provide it.
