GNSS Usage on EG915N When Using External LC29H-DA Module

We are currently using the Quectel EG915N module together with the LC29H-DA GNSS module to achieve more precise positioning. Given this setup, do we still need to use the internal GNSS functionality of the EG915N, or is it redundant in this configuration?
