GNSS LG77L Firmware update

Dear Quectel Support Team,

I kindly request your assistance regarding an issue with my LG77L GNSS module.

Module: Quectel LG77L(C)

Flash method:
I used the “MT33xx Firmware download using Flashtool” and successfully flashed:

  • MTK_AllInOne_DA_MT3333.bin
  • LG77LICNR11A01S_GLN.bin

Problem:
After a successful firmware upgrade, the module no longer outputs any NMEA data. /dev/ttyUSB0 shows no data, and the module does not respond to PMTK commands (e.g. PMTK314), regardless of baud rate (tested 9600 / 115200). The device appears as a normal USB serial device in dmesg

Already tested:

  • Multiple baud rates
  • PMTK314 command to enable NMEA
  • Power-cycled the module

Questions:

  1. Is LG77LICNR11A01S_GLN the correct firmware version for the LG77L module?
  2. Is there a way to restore the previous firmware (e.g. $PMTK705,AG3331_AXN5.1.9_MODULE_STD_F5_P3,000C,Quectel-LG77L,1.0*21
    )?
  3. How can I factory-reset my development board or the LG77L module?

Thank you!
