Galileo HAS on the LG290p

Galileo HAS on the LG290p

I’d like to know if we have a date for receiving Galileo HAS corrections on our LG290p?
On the GSC Europe website, it’s listed as receiving E6 corrections, but in reality, we don’t have them yet.
When would this capability be released?

Hi amlago,

We plan to release it around mid-May.

BR,
June

Quindi fra pochissimi giorni!
Avete già una beta prerelease come quella inviata a Sparkfun per il gst?
Grazie per lo scoop.

Hi bamarcant,

For now we only have LG290P03AANR01A04S that supports the output of raw data for HAS E6. Do you want to try this FW?

BR,
June

Marco

Do we have any news about the new firmware that supports Galileo HAS fixes?
Thank you, we’re really looking forward to it.

Hi amlago,

I have checked with the team, and the FW is still under development. Let me see if I can get a timeline.

BR,
June

Hi June, thank you for your interest.
As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, the LG290P is listed on GSC Europe as capable of receiving Galileo HA corrections.
At this time, this isn’t possible, and we really need the new firmware that allows it.
This is both for experimental projects and for professional work.
So please keep the team busy, as it’s absolutely essential that the new firmware be ready as soon as possible.
We’d love to have a precise delivery date for the new firmware.
Best regards
Angel

Hello.
Sparkfun informs me that v5 of the new firmware for the LG290p has been released.
However, it still doesn’t have the native fixes for Galileo HAS.
Is that correct?
If so, what’s the problem preventing these Galileo HAS fixes from being available?
I need them quickly for work and research purposes.
Thank you.

Hi amlago,

Yes, the new release does not contain the fix for HAS E6. I tried to get an estimated timeline but failed. I will push internally to see if I can get any updates.

Thank you,
June

Salve June, esiste una documentazione a corredo dell’ultimo fw v _5 ?
Si prega di divulgarlo…
Grazie

Hi June
Thank you very much for replying.
We would appreciate it if you could push for the native Galileo HAS E6 corrections, as we’ve been expecting since the LG290p release. We were very concerned that we still don’t have access to the corrections in this new version.
It’s urgent that this be made a reality for professional and research reasons, as I mentioned in another message.
We’ll stay in touch and await further news.
Best regards
Angel

Dear amlago,

I have checked with the team internally, and we can get a timeline for the FW after June. I will check again with the team after June, and I will keep you posted.

BR,
June

Thanks for responding.
We’ll be in touch then.
Please tell the software team that we urgently need the Galileo HA fixes.
Thank you very much, and I commend your kindness.

Hi bamarcant

The one you have is still the latest document.

BR,
June

Hi June.
You told us we might have news about Galileo HAS after june.
But maybe we already knew something about how the process is going.
Is there any new information on this topic?
Best regards
Angel
