Dear Silvia, I couldnt update the rom, when I started the programmer, the “SPRD U2S diag” port get blink and disconnected (port disappeared) then the programmer got timeout after 70 secons.
Programmer: QFlash_V7.4
ROM: “udx710_module+initgc+console+sec-user-native_FDDNRSEC_21A.pac”
What should I do?

Sorry, I don’t know how to upgrade with your router, it is better to contact with your router manufacture.

Or you can try to upgrade again on your side.

I have some tips that may help you:

  1. Try with a USB-C to USB-C cable for Data (not cable for charge use).
  2. Reset router and connect only the USB cable when WIFI led is on.
  3. Make sure using the correct drivers for that Router chip RG500U.
  4. Log in as a “root” in website and Enable “USB” option. (Warning: this will turn off Ethernet connection when enabled to restore need a reset)

I’ve found that doesn’t need to enter as a “root” account because the debug page work anyway using any account. Only “root” account does is just pop up this page at the menu. Assuming your router IP address is 192.168.188.1…
